Inspired by the carefree, vibrant 1970s and dedication to our father, the original jeweller in our family, we’re proud to introduce our latest collection, Let the Sun Shine In.
Drawing from reflections on childhood and teenage years at Moonbird, our beloved family jewellery shop run by our father Douglas. This is where values of community, nature, and quality craftsmanship were instilled. Re-imagined symbols such as the Om, Yin Yang, and Ankh, pivotal to our upbringing, now form the heart of this collection, symbolising keys to life and embodying the spirit of an era known for its carefree charm.
Inspired by our formative years and the essence of our father's original designs, Let the Sun Shine In explores textures we've developed over decades. These textures have become signatures of our style, reflecting our commitment to innovation and quality. We’ve also introduced a new style of chain, as well as pieces that are beautifully hand-carved, an ancient craft we love and protect.
Central to the collection is the Moonbird motif, a bird soaring through a crescent moon – a symbol of travel, freedom, and connectivity that has transcended generations within the Zoë & Morgan family. This motif encapsulates our values of sustainability and nature, reflecting a deep-rooted respect for the environment and the communities we reach.
We've infused Let the Sun Shine In with textures and designs that evoke the free-spirited nature of the 1970s. It's a celebration of our heritage and a tribute to the craftsmanship that defines our pieces.
This collection is a love letter to our father. Although he hasn’t been here to celebrate the business with us, his spirit is infused into the designs, allowing us to celebrate him.
