"Without being able to articulate what I was looking for, she was incredibly insightful and designed a stunning wedding band that beautifully complimented my ring."

We got engaged in London a couple of weeks before we moved back home to New Zealand. We chose the ring together at a specialist vintage jeweller in Hatton Gardens, the London jewellery district known equally for its diamonds and its infamous jewellery heists. For some reason, I was fixated on getting an Edwardian-style 6 claw solitaire ring, but I fell in love with (in addition to my now husband) a 1950’s American art deco ring set in platinum.

Part of what drew me to this ring was its unique angular shape and sword edge band, yet this made it a challenge to find a wedding band that suited - until I happened to stumble across the Zoe & Morgan store in Newmarket one afternoon.

Of course I absolutely loved her jewellery and noticed some of her pieces had an art deco design to them, with some rings even having a sword edge! It was an absolute pleasure having Zoë design my wedding band.

Without being able to articulate what I was looking for, she was incredibly insightful and designed a stunning wedding band that beautifully complimented my ring. After speaking with Zoë, I also decided to change my engagement ring band into gold - she retained the magic of the vintage ring that I loved while crafting a beautiful pair of bespoke rings that I could truly call my own. She also designed a beautiful and classic solid gold 18ct band for Jordan, which completed the wedding set.

We were married on a clear summer’s day at Ataahua garden venue in Tauranga in front of friends and family. On the big day, I wore Zoë’s Mini Flossie earrings too and am keen to continue adding to my Zoe & Morgan collection!
